I’m one of those people that needs to have a creative outlet. For as long as I can remember my hands have been creating something. If I’m away from the studio for long I will find that my creativity starts to come out in the way I prepare food … it just cannot be suppressed!
In 1997 I took a pottery class on a whim. My husband at the time, was taking a computer course at the local community college. I thought I might as well take a class the same night. From that first time I sat at a pottery wheel I was hooked!
I love the versatility of clay as a medium. It allows me to create everything from functional everyday pottery to whimsical art.
